I recently posted a message requesting information about the parents of MARTHA WOMACK, B: 1758, married ROBERT BEENE. Sam Womack was kind enough to provide me with the correct information. Martha's father was Major Jacob Womack, his father, RICHARD WOMACK, III, B: 1710, married Ann Nancy Childers. Thanks a million to Sam! Martha Womack is my 5th g grandmother. I believe her siblings were Sarah and William, maybe others. Would be interested in knowing any information about them or her father, Major JACOB WOMACK. Also would like to know where in Hancock County, Ga that Richard, III is buried.
Hi again, I am still trying to locate my Womack's. I received some information from the Texas state library but nothing on John Franklin Womack being in Fannin county, Texas. They did have a John F. Womack in Grayson County which is right next to Fannin County. If anyone has any information on a John F. Womack that lived in Grayson County Texas please get in touch with me!! It is unreal as to the number of Womacks there are in Texas alone! Thanks again, Jeanie
September messages have been moved to the message archive. Thanks! Mark

From Bruce Womack, son of Raymond M. Womack and grandson of Marvin Womack. I am looking for connections to family of Francis Marion Womack, my great grandfathet, born Ellisville, Jones County Mississippi, 1854. The 1860 Federl Census for adjacent Smith County Miss. reveals a John A. Womack and spouse Elizabeth Womack and four children; Albert M., 6, FRANCIS M., 5, Mary C., 3 and John A., 1. I assume but can not be sure that the Francis M. in the 1860 Census is my great grandfather. The dates are close as is the geography. Can anyone help on this, I have hit the proverbial geneology wall!! >>
I'm looking for the Womack coat of arms. If someone could please help me.

Need volume # for the following Womack citation: Virginia, County Court (Henrico County). "County records: deeds, wills, settlements of estates, etc." Womack is listed on pp. 492, 716, & 762 of which volume?
I am the great, great grandson of John Madison (Buck) Womack and just discovered that his ancestors came from England via Virginia. I would be very interested to know if William Womack was aboard either one of the three ships that landed in what was known as Jamestown. Any other history of this era that pertains would greatly be appreciated. Proud to be a Womack descendant!
